The company offers steel sheets, including hot-rolled sheets made by hot rolling slabs, cold-rolled sheets made by cold rolling hot-rolled sheets, galvanized sheets, and tinplate. The company, through its various joint ventures, is also involved in the mining of different types of coal. It was formed in 2003 by the merger of NKK and Kawasaki Steel Corp.
